Aleksander A. Bogod (1917-2000) was the oldest son of  Sofia/Sonya Bogod (nee Klionsky) (1896 - 1979) of Baku, Azerbaijan.

He was a career military officer, married twice with two sons, Igor & Alexander, and one daughter Tanya.

In 1970s he retired to the city of Stavropol where some of his descendants still live today. His other descendants live in other Russian cities, Finland and Israel.
