In 1911-1912 Donya Klionsky moved from Borisov, city of his birthplace to Baku and settled there for the rest of his life. Why did he move to Baku and not somewhere else? Suprisingly, the answers were found in Moscow, Russia, in the archives of Tzarist Police (disbanded in 1917).
